Suedost-Westfalen Nord by LightDrop Suedost-Westfalen Nord by LightDrop
This is a render I did in Octobre and postworked recently; I'm still not really happy with it, cause I know - from a physical POV there's something wrong; therefore the actually absurd title...
Nonetheless I decided to submit it now to have a x-mas-piece ^^;
And maybe I'll get some useful feedback that helps me to improve the image...
Technically: rendered in TG 0.9.19 in 5 hrs 2 mins @ 3840x2400; postworked in PS CS 5 in ~ 2 hrs 30 mins

Hope you like it!

Als ich mir eben das Bild anschaute, lief mir regelrecht ein Schauer über den Rücken. Die wunderschöne Landschaft, die brillianten Farben, das faszinierende Licht...Schönheit/Vollkommenheit pur.

As a photographer, where this falls down for me is the land/water interface. Water doesn't sit against rock like that, it looks a bit airbrushed. Great image though and I'm sure you'll get there with it in the end :)
